Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a LCMS Field Service Engineer located in New England. The LCMS Field Service Engineer will provide repair, preventative maintenance, and technical support for laboratory equipment, with a focus on Liquid Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (LCMS) systems. Responsibilities also include troubleshooting equipment issues, guiding customers in the proper use and maintenance of their systems, and delivering exceptional customer service. Travel to client sites may be required.
Qualifications
- Technical background with laboratory instruments, particularly Agilent LCMS systems such as SQ, (Q)TOF and QQQ.
- Thorough understanding of HPLC and MS theory and operation.
- Experience in field service, including the ability to travel and provide on-site technical solutions.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and technical support, with a strong ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and build reliable working relationships with clients.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to work independently and manage a service schedule effectively.
