ServiceNow Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions, including customizations and integrations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and refine requirements.
• Customize and configure ServiceNow applications, modules, and workflows.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on the ServiceNow platform.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system designs and user guides.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to the team’s technical growth.
• Stay updated on the latest ServiceNow features and industry best practices.
• Ensure compliance with coding standards, security policies, and best practices.
• Conduct code reviews and actively participate in design discussions.
• Perform Service Mapping, Discovery, and Event Management configurations to improve IT operations.

Qualifications

• :Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• .At least 5 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow development and administration
• .Proficiency in ServiceNow APIs, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• .Strong understanding of ITSM and ITOM processes, including workflows and automation
• .Proven experience with ServiceNow modules such as ITSM(IT Service Management), CSM(Customer service management also called PSDS), HAM (Hardware asset management)
• .Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies for project delivery
• .Relevant certifications (e.g., ServiceNow Certified Application Developer, Implementation Specialist) are highly desirable
• .Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• .Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
