Job Description:
- The Engineer 1 position requires 0-5 years of related experience and an accredited bachelor’s degree.
- Responsible for applying engineering processes, design criteria, and software applications to design and construct power related systems.
- Supports estimate preparation, develops design options, and prepares construction specifications.
Education and Experience: Required: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with ABET Accreditation Preferred: Civil, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering. Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification.
Work Experience: Required: None Preferred: Prior internship or co-op experience in an engineering field.
Specific Skills & Knowledge Required: Ability to read and interpret engineering plans - intermediate to advanced proficiency, MS Office - intermediate proficiency, Ability to communicate to all levels of the organization.
Preferred: CAD/GIS - basic proficiency, Hydraulic analysis experience, Project Management.
