Job Summary:
This position will be responsible for the general support of the Human Resource Department in regard to recruiting, events, employee relations, and benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with recruiting activities, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and conducting background checks.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records at all times.
- Manage and update employment records within ImageSilo.
- Support payroll processing, maintain attendance records, and assist employees with benefits enrollment and inquiries.
- Provide support in employee relations matters as needed.
- Coordinate meetings, prepare HR documentation, and support HR projects and initiatives.
- Assist with open enrollment and wellness initiatives, including administration of medical, dental, vision, LTD/STD, life, and voluntary benefits.
- Conduct new hire orientations and onboarding processes.
- Support 401(k) enrollment and related employee inquiries.
- Assist the Human Resources Manager with administration of scholarship programs, including application review, grade tracking, and interview coordination.
- Support managers with ISO 14001 compliance activities.
- Review and update job descriptions and standard operating procedures (SOPs) as needed.
- Provide support to the Director of Operations when needed.
- Perform other related duties and special projects assigned.
Essential Functions:
- Maintain working knowledge of and ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with employees, management, vendors, and external partners.
- Accurately document and maintain records to ensure information is clear, complete, and usable.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail, basic math skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Utilize computer systems and HR-related applications proficiently.
- Exercise sound judgment, work independently, and make appropriate decisions.
- Manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and organization.

- Demonstrate reliability through consistent attendance, adherence to schedules, and flexibility to work overtime as needed.

Education, Experience, and Qualifications:
- 2 Years of experience in Human Resources in a manufacturing environment required.
- Two-year degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
- 5 Years of experience in Human Resources in a preferred manufacturing environment.
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred.
Salary : $50,000 - $65,000
