Job OverviewTitle: CT TechnologistDepartment: CT Tech Type: Travel Contract (13 Weeks)Schedule: Mid Shift | 5x8 Hours | 3:00 PM – 11:30 PMStart Date: 12/01/2025Job DescriptionSummary:We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to provide diagnostic imaging for adult acute care, ED, ICU, and outpatient settings. This mid-shift role requires proficiency with Siemens or Toshiba CT scanners, strong IV start/venipuncture skills, and knowledge of contrast administration. First-time travelers with at least 1 year of CT experience are welcomed. Weekend rotation and floating between like units are required.Responsibilities:Core CT ImagingPerform CT exams of the abdomen, pelvis, chest, head, neck, spine, and musculoskeletal system, with and without contrastConduct advanced CT procedures, including: – CT angiography (vascular CTA, coronary CTA) – CT brain perfusion – CT arthrography – Myelography – Transplant studies – Musculoskeletal traumaSupport special procedures such as: – Aspirations* – Drain placements* – Biopsies*Perform multiplanar reconstructions (MPR) and post-processingPatient Care & WorkflowStart peripheral IVs and perform venipuncture independentlyPrepare and administer contrast media safelyRespond to Code Stroke imaging protocolsWork across multiple care settings: – Adult Acute Care – Emergency Department – Adult Outpatient* – ICUFloat between like units as neededTechnical & OperationalOperate Siemens and Toshiba CT scanners**Utilize PACS for imaging storage, review, and documentationChart examinations in Epic (required)Maintain radiation safety compliance and quality standardsEnsure proper patient identification, positioning, and protocol selectionKey Requirements:Minimum 1 year CT Tech experience requiredFirst-time travelers acceptedWeekend rotation requiredMust float between like unitsMid shift: 3:00 PM–11:30 PMRTO must be included at time of submissionFacility may call off up to once per pay periodNo pending licenses acceptedBlock scheduling considered at manager discretionLocals acceptedQualificationsEducation:Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or CT programExperience:At least 1 year of full-time CT experienceCommunity hospital experience preferredED, ICU, and acute care CT experience strongly preferredLicense & Certifications:ARRT (R) – RequiredState CT License – RequiredBLS (AHA) – RequiredVenipuncture Certification – RequiredFluoro Permit – PreferredSkillsCore CT SkillsAbdomen & pelvis CT (with/without contrast)Chest CTHead CT (with/without contrast)Spine: cervical, thoracic, lumbarMusculoskeletal traumaAdult emergency CTPost-processing & MPRAdvanced / Specialty Procedures* (preferred)CT angiographyBrain perfusionCT arthrographyMyelographyAspirations*Drainage*Biopsies*Transplant studiesEquipmentSiemens*Toshiba*PACSEpic EHRAdditional SkillsStarting IVs & venipuncturePreparation & administration of contrast mediaCode Stroke response ATD Technology, LLC is a certified minority woman owned business that creates opportunities to match qualified job seekers with our client programs while meeting all parties’ financial needs and technical goals.
