Job OverviewTitle: Registered Nurse – High-Risk AntepartumDepartment: 5SW – Antepartum (AUTO OFFER)Type: 13-Week Travel Contract (First-Time Travelers Accepted)Schedule: Night Shift – 3x12 Hours (19:00–07:30)Start Date: 12/01/2025Job DescriptionSummaryWe are seeking for an experienced Antepartum RN for a high-acuity, high-risk pregnancy unit caring for patients from 6 to 41 weeks gestation. This is an AUTO OFFER unit for qualified candidates meeting all clinical criteria. The assignment includes caring for complex conditions such as PTL, previa, preeclampsia, diabetes, hypertension, PROM, twins, and patients with substance use disorders in pregnancy.RNs must have at least 2 years of recent Antepartum or L&D experience, including C-section circulating and AWHONN Advanced certification. Float to Postpartum is expected. Travel experience is not required. This role does not care for newborns.ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive nursing care to high-risk Antepartum patients, including monitoring maternal and fetal status.Support and assist with sterile speculum exams (effacement, dilation, station, presentation).Circulate for C-sections and assist with emergent obstetric interventions.Manage high-risk medications including:Magnesium Sulfate therapyInsulin dripsAnticoagulantsMonitor and maintain CVC/PICC lines, syringe pumps, and PCA pumps.Manage conditions such as PTL, previa, preeclampsia, diabetes, hypertension, PROM, and multiple gestations.Provide supportive care for fetal demise, pregnancy loss, or postpartum patients with newborns in NICU.Float to Postpartum when required.Document accurately and efficiently according to hospital standards.Maintain a compassionate, supportive environment for patients and families.Key RequirementsMinimum 2 years recent antecedent experience (screen if <2 years).AWHONN Advanced, BLS, and NRP – REQUIRED.ACLS – Preferred.Must have experience circulating C-sections.Must be competent with Magnesium Sulfate, Insulin drips, and anticoagulant administration.Travel experience not required.Float to Postpartum required.Scrub Requirements: Any color; L&D provides scrubs if floated there.No block scheduling.AUTO OFFER for qualified candidates.Perm employees from other Providence facilities eligible only if separated for 3 months.All Swedish facilities accept active compact licenses.QualificationsEducationGraduate of an accredited School of Nursing (ASN or BSN).BSN preferred.ExperienceRequired:Minimum 2 years Antepartum and/or Labor & Delivery RN experience.C-section circulating experience.High-risk pregnancy care experience.Preferred:Experience with fetal monitoring and care of complex OB complications.Postpartum experience (for floating).LicenseActive RN license in WA or active Compact License accepted at Swedish facilities.AWHONN Advanced – Required.BLS, NRP – Required.ACLS – Preferred.SkillsHigh-risk Antepartum careLabor support and C-section circulatingMagnesium Sulfate therapyInsulin drips & anticoagulant administrationCVC/PICC line managementPCA pumps, syringe pumpsSterile speculum assistanceEmergency maternal careAbility to float to Postpartum ATD Technology, LLC is a certified minority woman owned business that creates opportunities to match qualified job seekers with our client programs while meeting all parties’ financial needs and technical goals.
