What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pharmacist position at ATD Technology LLC?
Duties:
- Hospital Outpatient Pharmacist duties to include: Review patient prescriptions and profile for accuracy and appropriateness
- fill all prescriptions in accordance with established policies and procedures and NYS law
- monitor drug therapy regimens for contraindications, drug-drug interactions and allergies
- communicate with providers to clarify prescriptions
- provide clinical consultation and clarification (cost-effective , therapeutic alternatives),
- familiar with billing procedures and third party contracts, supervise pharmacy technicians
- provide medication counseling to patients and caregivers.
Skills:
- One (1) year of Pharmacist experience.
- Pharmacy dispensing system experience. - preferred
- Sterile Processing experience. - preferred
- IV room experience. - preferred
- Knowledge of an EMR (Electronic Medical Records system) preferred
- Experience with high volume prescription in a retail pharmacy setting - preferred
- familiarity with EPIC Willow Ambulatory orders and inventory. - preferred
Shift:
- 10:00 AM-6:00 PM
- 35 hours/week
- 5 days/week
