Job Title: QC Superintendent
Reports to: QC Manager
Position Summary:
Responsible for implementing and maintaining all quality control procedures and equipment to ensure the attainment of the company quality standards. Performs spot checks at various stages in the production process to ensure compliance with all established procedures.
Duties/Responsibilities:

· Ensure all shift work is performed in a safe and timely manner and maintain downtime to a minimum.
· Supervise and ensure the manufacture of quality pipe based on customer standard requirements.
· Maintain communication with the Quality Department to ensure Quality Control policies and procedures are followed.
· Maintain communication with the Maintenance Department to ensure operation of the production equipment at maximum efficiency.
· Promote safety and ensure compliance of established safety rules and regulations.
· Effectively train and/or provide the necessary training and instructions for plant personnel.
· Effectively manage labor related problems, to contribute to a sound relationship between laborers, supervisors, and management.
· Maintain employee training records and production reports; review, sign-off, and turn in time cards; and investigate and complete accident and disciplinary reports per assigned employee.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
· Build team and individual capability, ensuring personal effectiveness for work in current and future roles.
· Personnel: review and approve Shipping Office time sheets
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Excellent written and verbal communication.
· Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
Education and Experience:
· 5 years Quality experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a supervisory position.
· Mechanical testing lab experience preferred.
· Associate degree preferred but waived with applicable experience.
· SAP experience preferred.
