Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Atchison, KS, as a Collections Account Representative. The professional in this role will be responsible for managing accounts receivables, performing collections on delinquent accounts, and communicating with account holders to resolve outstanding balances. Additional duties include providing exceptional customer service, negotiating payment arrangements, and collaborating with the team to meet recovery goals.
Qualifications
- Possess skills in Account Management and Training, with the ability to guide clients through financial management processes effectively
- Demonstrated experience in Customer Service and Communication to handle account inquiries and resolve issues professionally and empathetically
- Proficiency in Sales strategies to negotiate favorable payment terms and encourage compliance
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency with relevant office and account management software
- Prior experience in collections, financial services, or related fields is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate’s degree or higher is preferred
- Ambitious and goal-driven mindset with attention to detail
