atCause Law is a growing Elder Law firm in Clearwater Florida, specializing in Estate Planning and Probate matters. We are only 5 years old and already have 20 staff and this year will exceed $5 million in revenue.
Our success comes from the fact that we are the "Non-Stuffy Attorney's". We have hundreds of 5 star google reviews from clients who rave that we are very communicative and we are very professional and approachable with the people that we help.
We have decided that we would like to expand our services and so we are looking for an experienced Litigator in Florida who can help us take the firm to the next level toward becoming the premier elder law firm in the United States.
What you will be responsible for
- Represent clients in probate litigation cases, including will contests, trust disputes, and estate administration conflicts.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to develop case strategies and arguments.
- Work with our Paralegals and Legal Assistants to draft and file legal documents, such as petitions, motions, and briefs, with probate courts.
- Advocate for clients in court hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide compassionate, clear legal guidance.
- Work with estate administrators, executors, and other parties to resolve disputes efficiently.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of probate laws, regulations, and local court procedures.
- Coordinate with expert witnesses, such as forensic accountants or appraisers, to strengthen case arguments.
Who you are
- Must have a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. (J.D. candidates without a degree will NOT be considered for this role.)
- Must have an active license to practice law in Florida and in good standing with the state bar.
- Ideally would have experience doing probate litigation as counsel.
- Strong knowledge of probate laws, court procedures, and estate administration processes.
- Proven ability to manage complex litigation cases, including drafting legal documents and representing clients in court.
- Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for client interactions and courtroom advocacy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced legal environment.
- Must want to be a part of building the premier elder law firm in the USA.

Salary and Benefits
- This role starts at a between $115,000 - $120,000 per year.
- We will work out a bonus plan with you so that you can increase your income.
