DESCRIPTION OF ROLE:
This position reports directly to the IIT User Support Services Manager and works as part of the User Support Services (USS) team. The Desktop Support IV consultant is responsible for providing routine first- and second-level technical support, as well as resolving more complex technical issues by leveraging documented procedures and independent judgment.
The role supports institutional mission activities through IT by delivering professional, courteous,
and high-quality customer service. Responsibilities include diagnosing, troubleshooting, resolving,
and escalating desktop, hardware, software, and operating system issues while adhering to
established policies and procedures.
