- Client Location: Sites may vary — 3099 E. Washington Ave, Madison, WI 53704, as well as DOC Facilities (fleet vehicles available): Fox Lake, Redgranite, Plymouth Correctional Institutions, and some probation & parole offices.
- Travel: Required to various DOC facilities. Must have a valid WI driver’s license and personal vehicle.
- Travel reimbursement: $0.51 per mile
- Hourly wage for travel time
WORK ARRANGEMENT
- 100% Onsite from within Wisconsin.
- Candidate must be a current resident of Wisconsin with a history of working in the state.
- No relocations allowed.
- Work Schedule: 4 ten-hour days.
REQUIRED SKILLS (Need Majority; 2 Years)
- 2 years of customer service/interaction with users during device setup
- 2 years of imaging devices
- 2 years of efficiently and independently managing service tickets and life-cycling old equipment

DESCRIPTION OF ROLE
The Department of Corrections (DOC) requires Desktop Support staff to maintain a working knowledge of its internal computer system.
The technician will:
- Repair and maintain thousands of desktops, laptops, and other PC devices.
- Install new PCs and laptops to replace end-of-life equipment.
- Maintain inventory and properly dispose of outdated equipment following DOC recycling policies.
- Manage and close work orders in the DOC ticketing system.
- Receive oversight from the Field Tech Manager to ensure compliance with policy, procedures, and methodologies.
