Pharmacy Technician (Pharm Tech)– Correctional Facility
Location: Wilsonville, OR
Assignment Duration: 13 weeks, with potential for renewal
Pay Rate: $1600 weekly
Hours: Monday-Friday, 630-1500.
ATC Northwest is seeking a dedicated and skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team in a correctional facility located in Oregon. This is a 13-week assignment with an opportunity for extension based on performance and facility needs. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality pharmaceutical care in a fast-paced and structured environment.
Pharmacy Technician (Pharm Tech) Job Requirements:
- Current and valid Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Oregon.
- Minimum of 2 year of pharmacy technician experience (correctional or institutional experience preferred).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Must be able to pass and maintain background investigation to the satisfaction of Corrections
Pharmacy Technician (Pharm Tech) Job Summary
- Prepare and dispense medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Manage inventory, including ordering and stocking of pharmaceuticals.
- Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and patient information in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure proper medication administration and patient care.
- Adhere to strict safety and security protocols within the correctional facility.
