Pay: $1,918.80/week (plus $2,500 completion bonus per contract, up to $7,500 after three contracts)
Job Description:
The Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) provides compassionate, evidence-based care to patients undergoing cancer treatment. This position involves delivering specialized nursing care to oncology and medical-surgical patients, administering chemotherapy and biotherapy agents (if certified), and supporting patients and families through complex treatment plans. The RN collaborates closely with physicians, pharmacists, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe, effective, and personalized care.
Key Responsibilities:

Administer medications, including chemotherapy and supportive treatments, per physician orders and protocols.

Monitor and manage central lines, ports, and IV infusions.

Assess patient conditions, identify complications, and intervene promptly to ensure patient safety.

Provide education and emotional support to patients and families regarding treatment plans and side effects.

Collaborate with oncologists, nurse navigators, and care teams to coordinate multidisciplinary care.

Accurately document all assessments, interventions, and outcomes in Epic EMR.

Maintain infection control and patient safety standards at all times.

Float to other medical-surgical units as needed, within competency.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Experience:

Minimum 1 year of acute care experience required

Oncology experience preferred but not required
License:
-
Active Missouri RN license or Compact RN license (must be valid at submission)
Certifications (AHA only):
-
BLS (required)
-
Chemo certification (preferred)
Additional:

Must pass Relias EKG exam

Must demonstrate competency in dysrhythmia interpretation and management

Epic charting experience required
