What You’ll Do:
- Deliver Outstanding Care: Provide exceptional clinical support and ensure top-notch patient care.
- Maintain Precision: Keep detailed patient records and handle documentation accurately.
- Lab Proficiency: Efficiently manage laboratory equipment and terminology.
- Cultural Sensitivity: Offer care that respects and meets the diverse needs of our patients.
What We’re Looking For:
- Certification Required: Completion of a medical assistant certification course and current national certification.
- Experience: New grads are welcome to apply! Previous experience in a Medical Assistant role is a plus, especially in specialties such as Pain Management, Cardiology, and Urology.
- Certifications: Current CPR (BLS level), Hepatitis B Statement or Declination, and a two-step TB test (or alternative).
- Skills: Proficiency in handling bodily fluids and performing physical tasks related to patient care.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
- Prior primary care setting experience preferred
- Public Health setting experience preferred
Work Environment:
- Varied Settings: Work across diverse facilities with potential exposure to blood and bodily fluids.
- Physical Demands: Duties include reading medical equipment, pushing carts, and performing other physical tasks.
