Job Title: Supply Chain Planning Manager

Position Summary

We are looking for a Supply Chain Planning Manager to manage production and inventory planning across multiple sites in North America. This role focuses on ensuring product availability while balancing demand, capacity, and inventory levels in a seasonal environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage production plans across multiple manufacturing sites
• Align production schedules with forecasted demand and seasonal peaks
• Work closely with plant managers to optimize capacity and efficiency
• Oversee inventory planning across multiple warehouses
• Set and manage safety stock levels and reorder points
• Balance inventory levels with service goals and cost control
• Partner with sales, marketing, and finance on demand planning
• Support monthly demand planning processes
• Turn forecasts into production and distribution plans
• Manage product flow across the U.S., Mexico, and Canada
• Account for lead times, logistics, and cross-border movement
• Optimize warehouse stocking based on regional demand
• Plan for peak seasonal demand and high-volume periods
• Identify and reduce risks in supply chain operations
• Use ERP/MRP systems for planning and tracking
• Monitor KPIs such as fill rate, forecast accuracy, and on-time delivery
• Drive continuous improvements across supply chain processes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field
• 5–10 years of experience in supply chain, inventory planning, forecasting, or manufacturing operations
• Strong experience in inventory planning and demand forecasting (with greater emphasis than production planning)
• Proven background in Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives
• Experience working in multi-site and/or multi-country planning environments
• Strong understanding of seasonal and demand-driven planning models
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
