About the Role
We’re seeking a corporate-level Supply Chain Planning Manager to serve as the strategic “brain” of our plant—owning the balance between demand, supply, and inventory.
This high-impact role drives forecasting, production planning, and inventory strategy while partnering cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Service, Procurement, and Operations. You’ll also lead daily KPI performance.

What You’ll Do
Demand Planning & Forecasting
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using data, trends, and customer insights
- Partner with Sales and Customer Service to align on promotions and demand signals
- Improve forecast accuracy through analysis and root cause identification
Production Planning & Scheduling
- Build and manage production plans aligned with demand and capacity
- Optimize scheduling to maximize efficiency and minimize waste
- Adjust plans dynamically based on real-time conditions
Inventory Management & Control
- Balance inventory to meet service, freshness, and working capital goals
- Lead and develop the Inventory Control Specialist
- Implement strategies to reduce excess, shrink, and obsolescence
Data, Systems & Analytics
- Utilize ERP/MRP systems to drive planning visibility and accuracy
- Create dashboards and reports using Power BI and Excel
- Analyze performance data to identify improvement opportunities
Leadership & Cross-Functional Alignment
- Lead daily KPI meetings to drive accountability and results
- Collaborate with Procurement, Sales, Customer Service, and Operations
- Act as the key connector for supply-demand alignment across the plant
What You Bring
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field
- 5 years of experience in supply chain, demand, or production planning within manufacturing
- Prior experience managing or mentoring team members preferred
Technical Skills
- Advanced ERP/MRP system experience
- Strong Excel skills (modeling, pivot tables, analysis)
- Experience with Power BI or similar tools preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

Work Environment & Schedule
- Monday–Friday, typically 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM (flex as needed)
- On-site at: 625 S Main Street, Wilkes-Barre, PA
- Availability for extended hours or weekends based on production needs
- Travel to other Village Gourmet facilities: 15–25%
You’ll work across both office and production environments, including refrigerated areas, and regularly engage with plant operations.
