Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Floor Manager for our USDA certified and monitored Meat Production Facility, to lead daily operations within our manufacturing facility. This vital role involves overseeing production processes, ensuring safety standards are maintained, and fostering a productive environment for our team. As a Floor Manager, you will be the driving force behind efficient assembly line operations, quality control, and team coordination, all while maintaining a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence. Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily activities on the factory floor to ensure smooth manufacturing operations
  • Oversee assembly line processes, ensuring products meet quality standards and production targets are achieved
  • Manage and support team members, providing training and guidance on the use of hand tools, power tools, forklifts, and other equipment
  • Enforce safety protocols rigorously to maintain a safe working environment for all staff
  • Conduct regular inspections of machinery and workstations to identify mechanical issues or potential hazards
  • Collaborate with maintenance teams to address mechanical problems promptly and minimize downtime
  • Maintain accurate records of production output, safety incidents, and equipment maintenance logs

Skills

  • Proven experience working in a manufacturing facility with hands-on knowledge of assembly lines and factory operations
  • HACCP skills and knowledge of GMPs for meat production
  • Skills in Food Handling Safety, Sanitation and Hygiene
  • Strong familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and assembly techniques used in manufacturing environments
  • Prior warehouse experience is advantageous for understanding logistics flow within the facility
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and promote a safety-first culture
  • Effective communication skills to coordinate across departments and ensure clarity in instructions
