Quality Control Manage
Position Overview
Our client is seeking a Quality Control Manager to plan, coordinate, and direct quality control programs to ensure consistent production of products that meet established standards. This role plays an active part in quality management initiatives and is responsible for developing and implementing training programs to support continuous improvement across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and analyze statistical data and product specifications to determine current standards and establish quality and reliability expectations for finished products
- Establish and maintain quality control objectives aligned with company policies and goals
- Create and implement inspection criteria, procedures, and standards
- Communicate quality control processes and expectations to key personnel across the organization
- Partner with production and plant leadership to align quality objectives with manufacturing processes, improving product reliability and reducing costs
- Oversee inspection activities throughout the production cycle
- Utilize quality management tools and methodologies to support analysis and reporting
- Lead and manage team members involved in inspection and testing to ensure consistent quality across materials, processes, and finished products
- Collaborate with vendors to ensure quality standards for all purchased materials and components
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field preferred
- Lean Six Sigma certification preferred
- 5–7 years of experience in a similar quality leadership role
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to work cross-functionally with employees and vendors
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to continuous improvement
Salary : $110,000 - $130,000
