Position: Tax Manager
Location: Alpharetta, GA (Hybrid role, 3 days a week onsite)
Salary: $140K-$205K (depending on experience)
Length: Full Time
Our Client is seeking a Tax Manager or Senior Tax Manager for their growing, award-winning firm. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in nonprofit taxation as well as complex tax returns pertaining to Trusts and Estates.

Responsibilities
- Oversee the preparation and review of federal, state, and local tax returns to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Prepare and review tax returns (primarily for Trusts/ Estates/ Nonprofits/ S-Corps)
- Research complex tax issues and provide actionable recommendations to senior management.
- Monitor legislative and regulatory tax law developments and communicate their potential impact to the business.
- Supervise, mentor, and train tax staff, reviewing their work for accuracy and consistency.
- Create & Maintain strong relationships with external advisors, auditors, and regulatory agencies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Accounting or Finance
- Active CPA is required (alternatively, candidates with an active EA license pursuing their CPA are welcome to apply)
- 5 years' of experience of professional tax experience
- Strong understanding of complex tax pertaining to Trusts & Estates
- Experience with Nonprofit tax clients
- Ability to act as an advisor/ bring in additional business through networking events or outings
- Strong communication and analytical skills
