Duties
Assist licensed electricians in performing residential electrical work, including wiring, conduit installation, and fixture setup.
Handle hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to install electrical components according to NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) standards and NEC guidelines.
Help maintain compliance with electrical safety procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to low voltage and high voltage safety protocols.
Experience
Previous experience in construction or electrical environments is required; on-the-job training will be provided for motivated candidates.
Familiarity with construction site safety procedures and basic use of hand tools and power tools is advantageous.
Knowledge of electrical blueprint reading, schematic interpretation, and blueprint reading is a plus.
Experience working with both low voltage and high voltage systems enhances your ability to support diverse projects.
Understanding of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) compliance standards is beneficial for ensuring safe practices on all assignments.
Construction site experience, particularly in framing or carpentry related to electrical work, is highly valued.
