The Student Assistant for Engagement & Outreach plays a supportive role on the ASU Foundation (ASUF) team and works closely with two teams, Estate and Gift Planning, and Donor Relations and Engagement. Under general guidance, the student assistant provides administrative support, helps with project coordination, assists with data projects, donor and trustee communication, and contributes to the overall success of both these teams.
This position is ideal for a detail-oriented student interested in learning more about nonprofit work, estate and gift planning, donor relations, or higher education advancement.
The role requires approximately 15–20 hours per week during the academic year, with additional availability during university breaks.

What You'll Do
- Supports the Estate and Gift Planning and Donor Relations and Engagement teams with a variety of administrative and operational tasks that contribute to the success of Engagement & Outreach donor initiatives
- Assists in preparing, assembling, and executing mailings and print projects, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
- Provides data entry support for key databases, tracking systems, and reports to maintain organization and up to date data on donors
- Supports the management of donor lists, including updating records and organizing digital files
- Assists with Canva video projects and surveys using ThankView platform, during special times of year such as Sun Devil Gratitude Week, Sun Devil Giving Day, Endowment Reports, and Impact Reports
- Delivers excellent customer service to donors and internal stakeholders
- Always maintains a professional demeanor and represents the Engagement and Outreach team with courtesy and confidentiality
- Utilizes Microsoft Office and other software tools to complete tasks efficiently and accurately
- Completes additional tasks and special projects as assigned in support of team objectives
- Works approximately 15–20 hours per week during regular business hours (Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.), with schedule arranged around academic commitments
- Collaborative style, combined with the ability and desire to work in a team-based environment
- Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and responsibility regarding information related to Enterprise Partners, its subsidiaries and University business and confidential prospect information
- Strong and collegial interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate effectively in person, in writing, and by phone

- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of products
- A current student at Arizona State University pursuing a degree in a related field with a willingness to learn and ability to work well with others.
- Must be willing to sign and abide by a confidentiality agreement.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a driving record in good standing
