Job Summary
As a Marijuana Budtender, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and product knowledge to our clients. You will assist customers in selecting the right products to meet their needs while ensuring compliance with all regulations. Your expertise in cannabis products and ability to communicate effectively will enhance the overall customer experience in our retail environment.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide knowledgeable assistance regarding cannabis products.
- Educate customers on product features, benefits, and usage.
- Process sales transactions accurately using POS systems and cash registers.
- Maintain an organized and well-stocked display of products.
- Supervise and train new staff members as needed.
- Ensure compliance with state regulations and company policies regarding cannabis sales.
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash handling procedures.
- Assist in inventory management, including stock replenishment and product rotation.
- Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales or a similar customer service role is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash register operations is essential.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory counts.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage with customers effectively.
- Ability to supervise staff and provide training when necessary.
- A passion for the cannabis industry and a commitment to ongoing learning about products.
- Must have a valid RIC Card
