Astrosystems Inc is looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable specialist to join our growing team in Arlington Heights, IL! Responsibilities:
- Process and review incoming invoices for accuracy, proper coding, and approval
- Manage full-cycle accounts payable, including data entry and payment processing
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve billing discrepancies in a timely manner
- Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH, and wire transfers
- Maintain accurate AP records and filing systems for audit readiness
- Communicate with vendors and internal teams to address payment inquiries
- Assist with month-end close processes and account reconciliations
- 1-3 years of accounts payable or general accounting experience
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and high degree of accuracy in data entry
- Solid understanding of AP processes, general ledger coding, and reconciliations
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
