The 2nd Shift Supervisor oversees and coordinates all second-shift manufacturing operations, emphasizing adherence to Quick Response Manufacturing (QRM) principles. This role provides direct supervision, training, and development of all second-shift personnel while coordinating with other departments and stakeholders. The Supervisor drives production results by setting expectations, planning and monitoring work, providing coaching and feedback, and implementing, improving, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
While performing the duties of the job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, hear, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. Fine motor skills are required for a variety of functions, especially for wiring components and performing detailed assembly tasks. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. For items over 50 lbs., an assisted device or help from a coworker is used. A variety of personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required depending on the role and specific tasks and is subject to change based on safety needs. - Hire, train, coach, and manage shift personnel, forming teams and assigning tasks to meet production schedules.
- Maintain a strong presence on the shop floor, overseeing workflow, enforcing processes, and promoting Quick Response Manufacturing (QRM) principles.
- Ensure products are built to Engineering and Production specifications, meeting all quality, safety, and documentation standards.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing process, workflow, and material availability enhancements.
- Foster a high-trust, cooperative culture within and between teams, supporting communication, collaboration, and professional development.
- Support new product development and product introduction initiatives and participate in safe work practice programs with the Safety Team.

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Operations Management, Engineering or equivalent combination of education and work experience is required
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant manufacturing management experience required to include multi-department and/or plant level responsibility
- Computer proficiency required with ability to utilize Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, Outlook) and knowledge of ERP practices
- Knowledge of scheduling practices and capacity analysis (preferred)
- The ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Reliable transportation to maintain consistent attendance and punctuality
- Effective English language skills, including speaking, reading, and comprehension.
