What HR Generalists Do
*Essential Responsibilities*
- Identify and implement talent solutions in support of a transforming organization; ensuring the overall organization and culture are designed around strategic talent growth with a heavy focus on talent development, performance management, succession planning, and a culture of inclusion.
- Actively lead and engage employees in evaluation of the employee relations climate and implement solutions to issues that arise.
- Administer all HR policies and programs. Recommend and implement revisions to policies, programs and practices as needed. Ensure compliance with all state and federal statutes, laws and regulations including but not limited to all applicable wage and hour laws, and regulations related to FMLA, OSHA, EEO and ADA.
- Coach, Guide and shape the culture focusing on enabling growth through employee centric initiatives and strategic HR programs.
- Partner on Recruitment and selection to attract top talent, through branding initiatives, targeted sourcing campaigns and various channels including job boards, social media and networking.
- Support full scale safety programs and initiatives to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or related work experience.
- 3-7 years of HR experience.
- Experience adhering to all applicable local, state, and federal regulations and laws, including but not limited ADA, EEO, ERISA, FMLA, OSHA regulations.
- Proven experience in full-cycle recruitment and HR functions and understanding of best practices.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining best-in-class candidate and customer experience.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite, ATS and other HR software.
