What You’ll Do:

• Strategic Alignment: Contribute to the company’s long-term vision by aligning production capabilities with strategic business objectives.
• Resource Optimization: Manage manpower, equipment, materials, and space to meet production demand and ensure efficiency, capacity, and competency alignment.
• Budget Leadership: Participate in budget planning while optimizing manufacturing expenditures to balance performance goals and cost control.
• Leadership Excellence: Provide direction and mentorship to your team while fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Employee Development: Invest in your team’s growth with robust training processes and professional development opportunities to ensure every team member excels.
• Production Execution: Plan and execute manufacturing workflows to meet stringent quality, regulatory, and customer requirements while delivering on time.
• Process Improvement: Promote lean manufacturing principles, drive operational efficiency, implement a 5S program, and spearhead process control initiatives to eliminate variability and reduce poor quality.
• Performance Monitoring: Track key metrics and make data-driven decisions to optimize workflows, enhance productivity, and achieve production goals.

What You’ll Bring:

• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering or Operations Management) or equivalent industry experience.
• Leadership experience in managing production operations in a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment.
• Expertise in lean manufacturing principles and process improvement methodologies.
• Familiarity with standards, such as AS9100 and AS9145, plus a working knowledge of painting, machining, molding, and circuit card assembly.
• Proficiency with manufacturing software (ERP systems) and strong technical skills, including mastery of the Microsoft Suite.
• Stellar interpersonal, communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities, coupled with a systemic mindset and the ability to see the bigger picture.

Compensation:

• Base salary: $95,000 through $125,000, influenced by several factors including experience, skill set, education, certifications, market conditions, and business needs.

Physical Demands:

This role involves a mix of active responsibilities, including standing, walking, using hands/arms to operate equipment, and occasionally lifting up to 25 pounds. Specific visual abilities are required, including close vision, distance vision, and color vision.
