The Supervisor for Supply Chain is responsible for overseeing the process of sourcing and purchasing essential materials for the business' operations. This role works closely with Supply Chain Management to drive the implementation of sourcing strategies and new suppliers, deliver cost savings, and achieve on-time delivery throughout the global supply chain. This role works closely with Supply Chain Management to drive the implementation of sourcing strategies and new suppliers, deliver cost savings, and achieve on-time delivery throughout the global supply chain. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to developing purchasing strategies, maintaining positive relationships with suppliers, coordinating with internal cross functional teams and overseeing the supply chain team in their daily activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leads the supply chain team with a focus on supplier selection and cost reduction initiatives.
- Oversee the procurement and supplier selection activities across multiple factory locations
- Maintains the reporting and databases weekly for effective performance measurement
- Acts as the supporting factory liaison, supports the risk mitigation plan and issue resolution for the inbound supply chain of raw materials to ensure service and quality risks are minimized
- Partners with Supply Chain Management to provide input to the commodity strategy and to align on the strategic sourcing initiatives
- Manages supplier relationships to ensure supplier performance and adherence to quality standards and requirements
- Recommend and support implementing cost reduction opportunities with the global team
- Analyzes data to identify and drive improvements in the supply chain strategy.
- Enable early sourcing engagement on key projects, understanding project requirement and scope of sourcing/procurement organization and drive key inputs to enable faster decision making
- Serve as a pivotal escalation point for vendor management and expedite raw materials procurement
- Innovate and refine procurement processes, aligning with AS9100 compliance.
- Deliver insightful reports on Supply Chain KPI's to management, driving strategic decisions.
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure optimization of the supply chain team and collaborate with cross-functional teams within the organization.
- Assess and mitigate risks, by bringing to attention solutions.
- Other duties as assigned
- 4 years of experience in Supply Chain, including 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Experience with ERP systems
- Experience with sourcing and vendor management
- Flexibility and hands-on approach to tackling challenges.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated knowledge of supply chain
- Analytical and problem-solving experience with high attention to detail
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritization
- Proven ability to mentor and enhance the supply chain team's capabilities.
- Sound interpersonal skills and ability to be a team player
- Strong leadership capabilities

Salary : $70,000 - $90,000
