Key Responsibilities
ERP Transformation & System Migration
- Act as Finance SME supporting migration to SAP S/4HANA, including system design, testing, and deployment.
- Lead user acceptance testing (UAT), data validation, and cutover activities.
- Ensure financial accuracy and consistency between legacy and new ERP systems during parallel operations.
- Document and optimize accounting workflows and processes post-implementation.
- Manage standard costing, BOMs, and cost rollups in a manufacturing environment.
- Perform variance analysis (PPV, usage, production) and provide margin insights.
- Partner with Operations and Supply Chain to identify cost drivers and efficiency opportunities.
- Oversee inventory valuation, reconciliations, and reserves.
- Ensure accurate tracking of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
- Support month-end, quarterly, and annual close activities with a focus on inventory and overhead.
- Prepare and submit excise tax and drawback filings.
- Ensure compliance with federal and industry-specific regulations.
- Support internal and external audits related to inventory, tax, and production reporting.
- Develop and maintain financial and operational reports.
- Deliver actionable insights to leadership on cost, margin, and operational performance.
- Support reporting needs during system cutover and stabilization phases.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 8–12 years of experience in manufacturing finance or cost accounting.
- Strong experience with SAP (SAP S/4HANA preferred).
- Hands-on experience with inventory and standard costing.
- Experience in beverage, food & beverage, or regulated manufacturing environments.
- Prior involvement in ERP implementations or system migrations.
- Experience working in a dual-ERP or system transition environment.
- Advanced Excel (pivot tables, XLOOKUP, complex formulas).
- Experience working with large datasets and financial models.
