Job Summary
The Lab Technician supports daily Research & Development (R&D) laboratory operations, including stability testing, raw material handling, sample processing, documentation, supply ordering, and lab batch preparation. This role requires strong organization, accuracy, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean and organized laboratory
- Submit samples with complete and accurate documentation
- Keep a detailed and compliant lab notebook
- Report findings and results to R&D management
- Prepare and execute lab batches
- Support R&D team members and collaborate with Pre-Weigh and QA
- Prepare written reports summarizing work and results
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- High school diploma required
- 2 years of Lab Technician experience
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced setting
- Familiarity with manufacturing ERP systems and databases
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Solid statistical and mathematical abilities
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel, and ERP systems
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills
- Ability to lift/pull at least 25 lbs
