Product Strategy & Market Ownership
- Define product strategy and long-term direction for the portfolio.
- Identify target customers, market segments, and product use cases.
- Conduct market and competitor research to guide product decisions.
- Identify growth opportunities through innovation, partnerships, and market expansion.
- Create and manage the product roadmap.
- Translate strategy into product features and development priorities.
- Work closely with engineering teams to plan and deliver new releases.
- Ensure product quality and successful SaaS product delivery.
- Develop product positioning, value propositions, pricing, and packaging.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to support product launches.
- Assist with demos, proposals, and customer presentations.
- Gather customer feedback to improve products.
- Use AI tools to improve product development and analysis.
- Evaluate customer requests for AI features.
- Work with engineering teams to implement responsible and valuable AI capabilities.
- Act as the primary owner for product success and performance.
- Coordinate work across engineering, sales, marketing, and leadership teams.
- Identify risks and communicate updates to stakeholders.
- Strong strategic thinking and business awareness.
- Excellent communication and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Understanding of SaaS platforms and software development lifecycles.
- Knowledge of laboratory operations or regulated testing environments.
- Strong collaboration and problem-solving abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Biological Sciences, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5 years of product management or product ownership experience.
- 3 years of experience in Food & Beverage safety or testing environments.
- Direct experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
- Experience delivering SaaS software products.
- Experience supporting product launches and go-to-market activities.
- Experience working with AI or Generative AI product features.
