Food Molecular Laboratory Technologist Daily Tasks: What you will do:
- Process and prepare food samples and perform molecular testing including ddPCR/RT-PCR and whole genome sequencing (WGS).
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment while following SOPs, QA/QC standards, and safety protocols.
- Record, analyze, and communicate test results accurately and in a timely manner.
- Support lab operations such as specimen receiving, experiment setup, autoclaving, cleaning, and inventory management.
- Collaborate with internal partners and public health teams, making time-sensitive decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Food Molecular Laboratory Technologist Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Microbiology, Food Science, or related field.
- 1 years of experience in a food testing or molecular laboratory setting.
- Hands-on experience with ddPCR, RT-PCR, and whole genome sequencing
