We are seeking a Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Operator to join a reputable pharmaceutical manufacturing company in Middlesex County, NJ.
Type: 3 Month Contract to Potential Hire
Pay: $26-$30/hr
Location: Middlesex County, NJ
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment in a GMP-regulated environment
- Support manufacturing activities related to clinical supply production and process development
- Perform equipment setup, operation, cleaning, and room preparation activities
- Execute material sampling, staging, dispensing, reconciliation, and returns
- Assist with batch record documentation and manufacturing documentation review
- Perform in-process inspections and sampling activities
- Troubleshoot equipment and manufacturing process issues as needed
- Support the implementation of new manufacturing processes and equipment
- Assist in the development and revision of SOPs and work instructions
- Participate in training activities and help support cross-functional team members
- Utilize electronic systems for production documentation and data entry
- Support quality investigations, deviations, CAPAs, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Partner with maintenance teams during preventative maintenance and equipment repairs
- Follow all GMP, safety, and company procedures and policies
- Maintain a clean and organized manufacturing environment
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related scientific field with 1 year of pharmaceutical or life sciences experience
OR - High School Diploma/GED with 4 years of pharmaceutical manufacturing experience
- Experience working in GMP-regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical production equipment and manufacturing processes
- Experience supporting equipment startup, troubleshooting, or implementation activities
- Knowledge of batch records, SOPs, and manufacturing documentation practices
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working independently and within team environments
