Acquisition Program Manager
WORK LOCATION: Lackland AFB, TX
JOB STATUS: Full-time; salaried
CLEARANCE: MUST have an active US security clearance
Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Acquisition Program Manager to directly support the Air Force Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) program, which is within the USAF C3I and Infrastructure Division (AFLCMC/HNI).
ICAM is the cornerstone of a digital foundation that connects all DAF members across a trusted digital force and paves the way for Zero Trust.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- BA/BS degree and 3 years of Program Management, of which 3 year must be in the DoD
- OR 7 years of directly related experience with proper certifications, of which 5 year must be in DoD.
- MUST have an active US Secret level Clearance
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Experience with DoD acquisition strategy and documentation knowledge to include a comprehensive understanding and ability to apply associated standards, procedures, and practices, as defined in DoDI 5000.02, AFI 63-101/20-101
- Identify acquisition strategy issues and propose alternative solutions.
- Assist with strategic level issues and ability to work independently as well as a team member under tight deadlines with changing priorities.
- Possesses proven leadership, team building, strategic planning, and organizational development skills.
- Possesses pertinent experience with an ACAT I level program, including development of new programs with the Acquisition community.
- Possesses pertinent experience in the development of RFP documentation and support of Acquisition Strategy reviews.
- Demonstrated experience in packaging and presenting briefings for senior level reviews.
- Support program management reviews, senior level meeting/reviews, and IMP/IMS reviews
- Have experience initiating and managing high visibility programs.
