Are you an experienced and motivated Vac Truck Operator seeking flexibility and rewarding opportunity to join our fast-growing team. The successful applicant will be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, and repairing a wide range of vehicles to ensure they are operating safely and efficiently.
Key Duties And Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in vehicles using diagnostic equipment
- Perform routine servicing including oil changes, brake repairs, and general maintenance
- Repair or replace defective components such as engines, transmissions, suspension, and steering systems
- Conduct vehicle inspections and testing following repairs
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with workplace safety standards
- Relevant qualification in Automotive Mechanical Technology (Certificate III or higher or equivalent)
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience as a Motor Mechanic
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and time management skills
- A current driver’s licence is preferred
