Duties

• Diagnose hardware and software issues in various gaming consoles using specialized tools and techniques
• Perform repairs including replacing faulty components, cleaning internal parts, and updating firmware
• Utilize testing equipment such as ohmmeters to measure electrical resistance and verify circuit integrity
• Document repair processes thoroughly, including parts used and steps taken for each device
• Communicate clearly with customers about repair status, expected timelines, and troubleshooting tips
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency during repair procedures
• Stay updated on the latest console models, repair techniques, and industry standards to deliver top-tier service

Skills

• Strong technical knowledge of gaming console hardware components and repair procedures
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing
• Excellent problem-solving skills with an eye for detail to identify root causes quickly
• Ability to follow technical instructions precisely and document repairs accurately
• Effective communication skills for explaining technical issues to customers in a clear manner
• Prior experience with electronics repair or similar technical roles is preferred

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 40.0 per week
