Responsibilities
- Operate commercial dishwashing equipment to thoroughly clean dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen tools in accordance with food safety sanitizing procedures.
- Assist with food preparation tasks when needed, supporting the culinary team in maintaining smooth kitchen operations.
- Bypass used dishes and serve as a busser by clearing tables and assisting with basic food service duties to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Follow strict sanitation protocols to ensure all kitchen areas meet health and safety standards for cleanliness and hygiene.
- Handle manual lifting of heavy pots, pans, and boxes of supplies safely and efficiently during daily operations.
- Maintain organization of dishware storage areas, ensuring all items are stored properly and readily accessible for staff.
- Support the cleaning of kitchen equipment and surfaces regularly to uphold sanitation standards across the facility.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is essential.
