Astor Place Barbers is looking to partner with a promoter to host a monthly event inside a unique downtown space—New York City’s largest and most iconic barber shops.
We’re especially interested in promoters who can create DJ nights, live music sessions, and dance-driven parties that bring together college students and young New Yorkers looking for something different from the typical nightlife scene. The goal is to build a slightly underground, edgy gathering spot where people can let loose, discover music, and experience a one-of-a-kind environment tucked inside a legendary location.
Located in the heart of downtown Manhattan, Astor Place Barbers has been a New York institution since 1947. Known around the world for its culture, creativity, and authenticity, the shop has influenced trends in style for generations while remaining deeply rooted in the energy of New York City.
The shop’s walls are lined with celebrity clients dating back to the 1980s and extending to today’s influencers, making the space both historic and visually unforgettable.
We are looking for a promoter who can curate a monthly event that fits this culture and energy. Ideal events could include dance parties, raves, brand activations, DJ sets, live music, and cultural experiences that align with fashion, style, music, and NYC nightlife.
