Remodeling Handyman 

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour, based on experience

Location: Miami, FL 

Aston Construction is hiring a full-time Remodeling Handyman to work on residential and commercial construction projects in Miami, FL. We are looking for an experienced, reliable craftsperson who can handle carpentry, repairs, punch-list work, and general construction tasks while maintaining a clean and safe job site.

Responsibilities: 

• Perform rough and finish carpentry, framing, trim, cabinetry, door installation, and general repairs
• Complete drywall, painting, spackling, flooring, tile repair, and surface protection tasks
• Assist with demolition, general cleaning, and job-site preparation
• Read and follow blueprints, drawings, and project specifications
• Work with the project manager and other team members to complete projects accurately and on schedule
• Safely operate and maintain tools and equipment
• Follow building codes, safety regulations, and company standards
• Perform minor plumbing/electrical-related tasks such as relocate plumbing or extend or move electrical box and components 
• Provide professional customer service and maintain clean, organized work areas

Qualifications: 

• 5 years of experience as a carpenter 
• Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, construction materials, tools, and safety procedures
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Good communication skills and ability to work professionally with customers and team members
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites
• Basic carpentry hand tools required; specialty tools and materials provided as needed
• Proficiency in both English and Spanish is a plus

Compensation: 

• Full Time 
• Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
