Description:
We are seeking a dependable and skilled Handyman to support the operations of our busy event venue. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in keeping things running smoothly, and has a basic level of knowledge in multiple trades.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general repairs and maintenance tasks around the venue
- Assist with event setup and teardown (staging, furniture, equipment, etc.)
- Handle minor carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work as needed
- Operate power tools and complete light interior finishing tasks
- Conduct routine checks to ensure the venue is clean, safe, and guest-ready
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests
Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of carpentry, electrical systems, plumbing, and interior finishes
- Comfortable using power tools and ladders
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and event-based hours
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a handyman or maintenance role
