The Technical Program Product Manager III role focuses on building and scaling technical products that enable business customers to efficiently set up and manage their business accounts and procurement needs. You will own the end-to-end product lifecycle for new features and services, from concept and business case through launch and adoption, working with a dynamic, core team driving a fast-growing business. In this role, you will shape product vision and strategy, partner closely with engineering and UX, and use data and customer research to deliver impactful solutions that meaningfully influence the direction of the business.

Responsibilities

  • Own strategic product planning to achieve business objectives, define a clear product vision, and create an experimentation roadmap with comprehensive KPIs to measure impact and progress.
  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of software products, from initial concept and business case through customer deployment and ongoing optimization.
  • Collaborate closely with software engineering managers, developers, UX designers, and business stakeholders to define detailed business and product requirements, prioritize needs, and manage milestones and the overall product roadmap.
  • Create strong internal and external buy-in for the product vision, effectively communicating plans, trade-offs, and expected outcomes to stakeholders and partners.
  • Organize and lead customer research, studies, and feedback mechanisms to inform new technology investments and guide product experience design.
  • Establish effective, data-driven mechanisms to identify and communicate product and customer experience gaps, opportunities, and performance against KPIs.
  • Work closely with technical teams to understand root causes of customer pain points and drive the design and delivery of the right solutions to exceed customer expectations.
  • Pilot new product experiences, collect and analyze quantitative and qualitative data, report findings, and iterate quickly on the path toward full-scale rollout.
  • Globalize proven product experiences, ensuring that successful solutions can scale and adapt across different customer segments and regions.
  • Drive feature delivery decisions, including making informed trade-offs between scope, quality, time, and resources.
  • Contribute to engineering discussions about technology choices and architecture, ensuring alignment between product strategy and technical direction.
  • Partner effectively across multiple groups and functions within the organization to coordinate dependencies, resolve issues, and ensure smooth execution.
  • Own product requirements for software products, working day-to-day with software developers and product designers to translate customer and business needs into clear, actionable specifications.
  • Apply strong project management, organizational, and leadership skills to manage timelines, risks, and stakeholder expectations throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Demonstrate and promote a culture of diving deep into data, maintaining a strong customer obsession, and showing a bias for action in decision-making and execution.

Essential Skills

  • 7 years of experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development, or technology roles.
  • Proven experience managing technical products, including owning product requirements and working closely with software developers and product designers.
  • Demonstrated experience with end-to-end delivery of software products, from conception and business case through customer deployment.
  • Experience with feature delivery and making trade-offs related to scope, quality, and timelines.
  • Proven ability to own and drive roadmap strategy and definition for software products.
  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions on technology decisions and strategy related to a product.
  • Experience working effectively across different groups and functions within an organization to achieve shared goals.
  • Strong product and program management skills, with an entrepreneurial mindset and ownership mentality.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Hands-on experience with product management practices across the software development lifecycle, including new product development and iteration.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience building software products in close partnership with stakeholders, including engineering, UX, and business teams.
  • Experience defining product needs and translating them into clear requirements for software developers.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and leadership skills, including managing multiple priorities and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with the software development life cycle and how to integrate product management practices within it.
  • Usage of generative AI tools to enhance the product development lifecycle.
  • Ability to recognize opportunities where generative AI could enhance products, workflows, or customer experiences.
  • Demonstrated customer obsession, with a track record of using customer insights to guide product decisions.
  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with a bias for action and data-driven decision-making.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, onsite role based in a corporate office in Austin, Texas. The position requires working from the office five days per week, fostering close collaboration with software engineers, UX designers, and cross-functional business stakeholders. The environment emphasizes deep problem-solving, customer obsession, and rapid iteration, with a strong focus on data-driven decision-making and cross-team communication.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $62.00/hr.
