Job Description

Responsibilities
- Dispatch and route service technicians throughout the day, managing point A to point B scheduling.
- Handle 20–30 daily inbound customer calls, maintaining ongoing communication with technicians in the field.
- Coordinate job assignments, updates, and next steps as technicians complete their work.
- Perform administrative tasks, including billing, paperwork, and service documentation.
- Act as a central point of communication, balancing customer needs and technician schedules.
- 3 years of dispatching experience specifically within mechanical contracting, such as HVAC and plumbing.
- Ability to manage a high call volume while staying organized and calm under pressure.
- Strong communication skills, with the capability to confidently direct conversations.
- Experience in service environments with multiple technicians in the field.
- Familiarity with dispatching/software tools, currently using BuildOps and transitioning to Spectrum by Trimble.
