Financial Reporting & General Accounting
Prepare and review monthly financial statements for accuracy and completeness
Prepare monthly journal entries including accruals, prepaids, and other adjusting entries
Perform monthly general ledger reconciliations and account analysis
Complete monthly bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations
Generate and distribute periodic financial and operational reports
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
Prepare documentation and schedules for external auditors
Cost Accounting & Operational Analysis
Analyze job profitability, equipment costing, labor utilization, and operational performance
Perform monthly job costing analysis and related cost transfers
Monitor and reconcile inventory balances and inventory activity
Evaluate operational costs and identify opportunities for improved efficiencies and profitability
Assist management with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
Recommend process and policy improvements to reduce costs and maximize profits
ales Tax & Compliance
Prepare and file sales tax returns across multiple jurisdictions
Strategic & Analytical Support
Review and analyze potential investment and business opportunities for ownership

Experience with inventory accounting and operational analysis preferred
