The Operations Pricing Specialist will support the Transportation team, focusing on backend, tactical work. This is an entry-level, hands-on role with minimal external interaction, ideal for someone who thrives on accuracy, detail, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Execute carrier requests and pull data from the platform.
- Assist in preparing quarterly business reviews and pulling pricing for carriers.
- Manage support boxes and handle internal/external requests for information.
- Provide timely and accurate operational reporting.
- Support continuous improvement, quality control, and standardization efforts.
- Learn and apply transportation and energy industry best practices.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- 1–3 years of experience in data accuracy, order verification, or operations.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience with operational reporting and process improvement.
