We pride ourselves on delivering world-class customer service from the first call to ensuring complete customer satisfaction.ResponsibilitiesHandle high-volume inbound calls with a professional presence.Generate fast and accurate quotes, and manage order entries efficiently.Maintain strong follow-up discipline and effective time management.Process orders and ensure data entry accuracy.Engage in account management, prospecting, cold calling, and outbound sales.Develop and maintain customer relationships with a customer service-oriented approach.Essential Skills2 years of experience in sales, inside sales, or customer service.High School Diploma, Associate Degree, Bachelor Degree, or equivalent experience.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.Experience with POS or ERP systems such as SAP.Basic math skills, including measurements and fractions.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in the steel service center or metals industry.Knowledge of structural steel, rebar, or fabrication.Exposure to Salesforce, SAP, or similar CRM/ERP systems.Understanding of margins, markups, and pricing strategies.Ability to read blueprints or fabrication drawings is a strong advantage.Work EnvironmentThis is a fully on-site role located in Bozrah, CT, within a fast-paced steel service center environment. You will have high interaction with customers, drivers, and operations, in a hands-on, detail-driven culture. The facility features state-of-the-art processing equipment and a modern fleet of trucks.
