Description
The HR Manager will oversee all human resources functions for this client, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and HR operations. This role is both strategic and hands‑on, supporting a manufacturing workforce and partnering closely with leadership to ensure a positive, safe, and high‑performing work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead full‑cycle HR operations including recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and offboarding.
- Partner with leadership to support workforce planning, staffing needs, and organizational development.
- Serve as a trusted resource for employees, providing guidance on policies, conflict resolution, and workplace concerns.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including OSHA and manufacturing‑specific requirements.
- Oversee HR documentation, personnel files, attendance tracking, and HRIS accuracy.
- Support training initiatives, safety programs, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Manage benefits administration, leave programs, and annual enrollment processes.
- Collaborate with supervisors to address performance issues and coach leaders on best practices.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives and help strengthen company culture.
- Support payroll processes and ensure accurate reporting in partnership with finance/operations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
- 3–5 years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment.
- Strong understanding of employment law, compliance, and HR best practices.
- Experience supporting hourly manufacturing employees and working closely with operations leadership.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and relationship‑building skills.
- Ability to manage sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality.
- Strong organizational skills and comfort working in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment.
- HR certification (PHR/SPHR/SHRM‑CP) is a plus but not required.
