Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for senior manager and director-level roles within Workplace Health and Safety, from initial requisition intake through offer acceptance and onboarding support.
- Source high-caliber leadership talent using a variety of methods, including direct sourcing, networking, research, and targeted outreach to build strong candidate pipelines for priority and launch sites.
- Conduct structured interviews and evaluate candidates against role requirements, organizational needs, and leadership expectations.
- Check references and perform due diligence to ensure high-quality hiring decisions for senior-level positions.
- Develop and present competitive offers, negotiate with candidates, and drive the closing process for director-level and senior manager candidates.
- Utilize applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruiting tools to manage requisitions, track candidate progress, and maintain accurate and timely records.
- Partner closely with stakeholders to understand hiring needs, hiring timelines, and the strategic importance of each requisition, particularly for L7 Workplace Health and Safety roles.
- Prioritize and manage a high volume of requisitions, ensuring consistent progress toward year-end hiring goals and minimizing gaps in critical leadership roles.
- Apply sound judgment and creativity to develop and refine sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill and executive-level positions.
- Collaborate with other recruiters and team members, potentially leading and directing aspects of their work to ensure cohesive and efficient recruiting efforts.
- Support new hire orientation and employee status changes as needed, ensuring a smooth transition for new employees.
- Perform exit interviews and process changes in employee status when required, contributing to continuous improvement in the talent lifecycle.
- At least 5 years of experience in full-cycle recruiting with a focus on senior manager and director-level roles.
- Proven experience sourcing and closing director-level and executive candidates.
- Strong background in recruiting, sourcing, talent acquisition, and executive search.
- Hands-on experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) to manage requisitions and candidates.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a high volume of requisitions while maintaining quality and timeliness.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and rely on extensive recruiting experience to plan and accomplish hiring goals.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for engaging senior-level candidates and stakeholders.
- Experience conducting interviews, checking references, and making hiring recommendations.
- Ability to negotiate offers and effectively close candidates at senior leadership levels.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field is typically required.
- At least 8 years of experience in recruiting or a related talent acquisition area is preferred.
- Familiarity with a variety of recruiting concepts, practices, and procedures across different business functions.
- Experience supporting leadership hiring for specialized functions such as Workplace Health and Safety or similar operational environments.
- Ability to lead and direct the work of other recruiting professionals when needed.
- High degree of creativity and flexibility in designing sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill and executive-level roles.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with ambitious hiring targets and evolving priorities.
