- Lead contract negotiations with customers from initial discussions through final execution.
- Review and revise contract terms and conditions to align with company standards and risk tolerance.
- Partner with internal business teams throughout the negotiation process to resolve issues and gain approvals.
- Collaborate with the Legal Department on complex or escalated contract matters.
- Secure business approval for exceptions and unresolved contract concerns.
- Confirm credit approval for contracts exceeding $100,000.
- Execute and return signed contracts up to $1 million.
- Maintain accurate contract records in Salesforce, including insurance certificates, bonds, and other documentation.
- Coordinate the issuance of payment, performance, and supply bonds as required.
- Request and review insurance certificates to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Conduct semi-annual reviews of bonds to assess job completion status.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders across departments.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in contract review, including at least 2 years in contract negotiation.
- Background in construction-related contract analysis preferred.
