The position is based in Schaumburg, IL, in a state-of-the-art, all-glass building with numerous amenities and easy highway access. The office fosters a family atmosphere and offers a great training program. Responsibilities
- Print title, registration, and tax documents based on owner, state, and client instructions to ensure compliance with state and county statutes.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve state, county, and province license and title rejections or questions related to title, registration, and tax.
- Create, update, and adjust print positions on forms through Forms Definition.
- Order duplicate MSOs directly through manufacturer websites and follow up until received.
- Process registration renewals using the appropriate resources for each jurisdiction, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Verify registration and service fees to ensure clients are billed correctly for renewals.
- Reconcile discrepancies using data from databases and vendor reports.
- Coordinate with other departments to fulfill missing or late jurisdiction requirements such as emissions checks or resolving outstanding violations.
- Ability to communicate clearly and confidently with dealers, tag agencies, government agencies, and clients.
- Strong customer service skills with diplomacy and tact.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high organization.
- High attention to detail for accuracy and auditing invoicing.
- Proficient in problem-solving and follow-up.
- Basic math skills for calculating complex tax documents.
- Experience with Microsoft Windows and its software (Visio, Word, Excel, Office, etc.).
- Proficient with web-based systems and databases, and internet navigation.
- Strong networking skills with vendor negotiation capability.
- Self-motivated, team-oriented, with leadership qualities.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Two years of previous office or customer service experience.
- Experience with SalesForce request management system.
- Skills in data entry, administrative support, customer service, order entry, and the use of Outlook and Salesforce software.
