Responsibilities
- Review insurance claims for deductible eligibility.
- Enter claim data into internal systems and update records as needed.
- Assist in calculating and applying policy deductibles, depreciation, and other allowable deductions.
- Maintain organized digital claim files.
- Maintain accurate records of all deductibles and ensure they are properly reflected in claim summaries and payment documentation.
- Monitor deductible status and follow up on outstanding documentation or approvals.
- Prepare reports related to deductibles trends, claim adjustments, and payment reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and data privacy standards.
- 1–3 years of experience working with insurance claims or deductions.
- Familiarity with insurance terminology, especially related to deductibles and coverage.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and claims management systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Experience in cash application, reconciliation, and accounts receivable.
