Key Responsibilities
- Manage end‑to‑end purchasing activities, including sourcing, pricing negotiations, purchase order creation, and supplier follow‑up.
- Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure reliable supply, competitive pricing, and consistent performance.
- Analyze demand, inventory levels, and lead times to support replenishment strategies and minimize stockouts or excess inventory.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers while ensuring alignment with quality, service, and cost objectives.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with planning, production, engineering, quality, logistics, and accounting teams.
- Resolve supplier‑related issues including delivery delays, quality concerns, invoice discrepancies, and shortages.
- Monitor supplier performance using KPIs and drive corrective actions as needed.
- Support sourcing initiatives, cost‑reduction efforts, and continuous improvement projects.
- 4 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or buying roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Experience managing multiple suppliers and purchase orders in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
